1. Who I am
AJ Digital (https://ajdigitalchennai.online/) is operated by Ajith Kumar, an individual freelancer in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Contact: ajiit1411@gmail.com.
2. What data I collect
Forms: when you use the contact, strategy-call or callback forms, I collect your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, the service you want, and any details you write.
WhatsApp and calls: if you message or call me, I see your number and what you write.
Analytics (only if you click Accept on the cookie banner): I use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager. It records pages viewed, how you found the site, approximate location, and device and browser type. I do not send your name, email or phone number to Google Analytics, and I do not use advertising or remarketing features.
Google Search Console: I use it to see how my site appears in Google Search. It does not track individual visitors.
3. Why I use your data
- To reply to your enquiry and give quotes or proposals.
- To provide services you hire me for.
- To understand how the site is used (analytics, only with your consent).
- To keep records that tax and other Indian laws require.
- To send marketing, only if you tick a separate box to agree.
4. Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies (typically _ga and _ga_[ID]) only if you click Accept, and they can last up to 2 years. You can choose Reject, and you can change your choice at any time using in the footer. I do not use advertising cookies.
5. Who I share data with
I do not sell or rent your personal data. I share it only with services needed to run the site:
- Hosting: Vercel.
- Form delivery: FormSubmit.
- Analytics: Google (Analytics 4, Tag Manager, Search Console).
- Google Maps embed and WhatsApp (Meta) links.
- Authorities, if Indian law or a court order requires it.
Some of these providers may process data on servers outside India.
6. How long I keep data
- Enquiries: up to 12 months after last contact, then deleted.
- Client invoices and records: as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require.
- Analytics data: 14 months, then deleted automatically.
7. Security
I use reasonable security measures, including HTTPS and restricted access to my accounts. No online system is completely secure. If a breach affecting your data occurs, I will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Email me at any time to ask for a summary of your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to withdraw your consent. I respond within 15 days. From 13 May 2027, these rights also apply under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
9. Grievance officer
Ajith Kumar, ajiit1411@gmail.com. I acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and resolve them within 15 days.
10. Changes
I will post any updates on this page with a new effective date.
